Patients coming to Sindh Institute of skin disease are served on first come first basis. Each patient has to go through the following steps.
- Patient first go to the registration counter and get a slip with registration number and the consultation room number.
- Patient goes to the assigned room where he has to wait in queue for his or her turn. He/she gets examined by the doctor. In case of any confusion, patient is referred for expert opinion to chief consultant.
- In case if the condition of the patient is such that he/she needs inpatient care, the patient is referred to in-charge inpatient unit for admission.
- Medicines are written on the slip provided to the patients. They are directed to the medicine counter where all medicines are provided free of charge.
- In case of any confusion, Patient can go to the front help desk where trained staff members are always present to help the patients.
