ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES (THURSDAY SESSION FOR DIFFICULT CASES)
Thursday session for difficult case management is high level educational activity in the hospital for last three decades. It is conducted by working and retired consultants of this institute, attended by post graduate trainees of other hospitals of Karachi even from other cities of country (specially during exams).
- Weekly topic presentation along with interactive discussion.
- CME lectures by consultants from other hospitals.
- Teaching classes for under graduate students from Aga Khan University.
- Support / platform for the research projects of M.phill/PHD students.
- Updated library well equipped with computer, dermatological books / journals.
- Separate conference room and seminar hall for educational activities.
- IRB (Institutional Review Board) to encourage and facilitate for research both for our doctors and other hospitals.
We are also actively participating in the online monthly clinicopathological meetings conducted via zoom for interesting cases in dermatology under the esteemed umbrella of Pakistan Association of Dermatologist

PATIENT EDUCATION
Patients are counseled & educated regarding good hygiene, disease contagiousity, proper use of medication, treatment response rate, disease relapse rate, maintenance therapy & regular follow ups.
